Ha! The subject matter of this painting took me a while to get there. I first thought of literal camping images... but that's not super interesting necessarily. My mind wanders, and I try to have the creative juices kick in.
One thought leads to another and with the help of a couple of great studio mates, the phrase "I'm living in a van down by the river" comes up and I've got it. Introducing Matt Foley Motivational Speaker, camping out and living in a van down by the river.
Careful cause you might loose some ingredients from your S'Mores to a raccoon.
