Louisville Slugger MLB Fender

The 2019 MLB All-Star Week was in Cleveland giving chance to a creative collaboration between Louisville Slugger and Fender Guitar. The two brought
baseball and music together for a one-of-a-kind art installation that
not only involved the two innovative legacy brands, but also the music scene of each of the 30 MLB teams. 

Insert ART as the artist identified to represent the home town Team - Minnesota Twins! Each artist was tasked with hand-painting a Louisville Slugger wood bat and a Fender guitar with designs inspired by each particular city’s baseball team and musical legacy.

The drive behind this collaboration was to benefit two impactful charitable organizations: Fender’s PLAY Foundation and MLB’s Play Ball Organization, both of which encourage youth participation in arts and athletics. After being displayed during All-Star Week, all of the bats and guitars were auctioned off by MLB Auctions-- 100 percent of the proceeds were donated to those charitable organizations.
