The Raven's Journal
Day 17 of Inktober 2024 - Journal
This piece draws inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe’s "The Raven," featuring a lone raven perched beside an open journal. A window frames the large, luminous moon casting a soft glow on the raven’s feathers, illuminating the pages waiting to be filled. The deep, dramatic blues and highlights of the moonlight set the scene of the passing night, and you can almost feel the cool breeze through the open window and hear the crickets singing in the distance.
