Are they really though? Maybe the red roses started out as white until somebody painted them red.
My Grandma’s front yard had beautiful rose bushes that she meticulously tended. I couldn’t actually touch these roses, because wire fencing surrounded all of the bushes to keep bunny visitors away.
Inspiration is from Grandma’s rose bushes, Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, and Disney’s remake of the scene where the Queen of Hearts has her Card Soldiers paint roses red while the March Hare looks on searching for his pocket watch. He’s running late of course.
