Palace Community Center

The Palace Community Center in St. Paul has a rich history. The Palace football team was the first to play in an official NFL game. The Community center lies in the middle of a small neighborhood surrounded by post-war homes, and many of the residents have been there for decades. New young families have started to move in and thus the community center has been updated to accommodate for all of its audiences. Residents young and old share in all the community center has to offer.

The mural inside the community center had to speak to both the history and the ever-changing community. The football player is a throwback to the historic NFL game. Basketball, hockey, baseball, and many other activities take place at Palace along with seasonal changes. The mural also depicts the homes and industry in the area.
