AIGA

 Every year the American Institute of Graphic Design (AIGA), has a national conference. In 2017, the the AIGA had their national conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They were looking for a live painting experience at the conference in between speaker sessions during their design fair. Hundreds of attendees were able to experience this mural being painted right before them. The theme of the 2017 conference was "connect". We took that concept and ran with it. Taking aspects of the location of the conference, and adding in elements of the season, and culture of Minneapolis in an abstract description of the overall theme. At the end of the conference the painting was cut into 16 individual pieces and distributed to random attendees. 16 attendees were able to take home a piece of the mural so the art can live on after the conference.
