This piece was originally done for a cover for Bicycle Times magazine. The art director I worked with over there was looking for a very dapper old-school type randonneur on a old-timey bicycle with vintage accessories. Well, that's exactly what i drew. He wanted my character riding a long stretch of gravel road with a looming storm on the horizon, and again, that's what I provided.

Overall the feeling one gets when riding out in the country on a bicycle with nothing but a storm in the distance in your thoughts, that's what this print says. Or more simply, just go crush some gravel.
